Rain is something we desperately seek, especially to help our lawns, gardens and crops! Unfortunately, last week we didn’t see enough rain (although a few localized places saw way too much!)
With most communities between 1-2 below their average rainfall for the month of June, we’re really looking for widespread overflowing rain to help break through this drought!
Well, we’re starting this Thursday morning a little bit different than the last few mornings. SUNSHINE! We actually have a view of the mountains from our resort camera!
Some places do experience fog, however, particularly in the Northeast Kingdom and the Connecticut River Valley. The fog will dissipate early this morning and give way to the sun!
The sun will also help push our temperatures into the 80s above 90s, with a risk of afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
On Friday there will be a few more clouds, starting under mostly cloudy skies, a few thunderstorms bubbling under a developing low to our south.
Then we come to America’s Birthday!
The forecast for July 4th looks good, despite the slightest chance of occasional showers in the afternoon, most will remain dry under partly to mostly sunny skies!
How are you celebrating this weekend?
